Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Real World Evidence Analyst II to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing real-world data (RWD) from diverse sources, including medical and pharmacy claims, electronic health records (EHR), and prospective observational studies. Your work will contribute to the development of actionable insights that drive better healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide programming support for the analysis of real-world data from various sources such as EHR, claims databases (Optum, Marketscan, Flatiron, etc.), and hospital data.
- Contribute to the development of programming specifications based on analysis requirements and source data.
- Develop and validate analysis datasets from multiple file formats and sources, both internal and external.
- Assist in the creation and validation of graphs, tables, and listings for exploratory investigations.
- Ensure high-quality programming of analysis-ready datasets, tables, listings, and figures, including validation work.
- Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for assigned deliverables.
- Communicate accurate and timely status updates to project leads and team members.
- Participate in department meetings to share knowledge and insights.
- Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency in programming processes.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Required: 1-3 years of experience in RWE analysis within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience with data from Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Claims databases (e.g., Optum, Marketscan, Flatiron).
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
