Job Responsibilities: Centralized Study Specialist I
As a Centralized Study Specialist I at Fortrea, you will play a critical role in supporting the clinical development process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Following departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Executing timely and high-quality monitoring and reporting plans.
- Tracking and reporting project metrics according to management’s timelines.
- Managing clinical systems and maintaining databases such as CTMS, IWRS, and EDC.
- Supporting Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) by tracking outstanding issues.
- Generating study-specific reports and assisting in site and vendor payments.
- Leading successful partnerships with support groups, resolving barriers, and facilitating success.
- Documenting and tracking study activities and managing internal/external communications.
- Updating timelines, milestones, and project plans within MS Project, CTMS, and other tools.
- Attending and facilitating study team meetings, overseeing vendor management, and more.
Qualifications for Centralized Study Specialist I
To qualify for this role, you must have:
- 3-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
- A degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to manage clinical systems and databases effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and delivering projects within timelines.
