Responsibilities in the Job
As a Quality-Medical Affairs Professional (Q-MAP) at Lilly, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring medical quality and compliance in promotional and non-promotional content. Your responsibilities will include:
Brand Team Support:
- Acting as a key medical liaison for the brand team.
- Providing clinical and scientific knowledge to support cross-functional teams.
- Contributing to local brand plans and medical strategies.
- Reviewing and developing promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Sharing therapeutic and clinical landscape insights with internal stakeholders.
- Supporting medical training initiatives for internal business partners.
Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:
- Analyzing data and assisting in the creation of scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Collaborating with Clinical Research Physicians (CRPs), Clinical Research Scientists (CRS), and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
- Staying updated on relevant medical literature and advancements in therapeutic areas.
- Developing knowledge of current trends, clinical practices, and market access challenges.
- Supporting Scientific Data Disclosure (SDD) plans and ensuring compliance in all deliverables.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Advanced Degree (e.g., MD, PhD) in health sciences with at least 2 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., MBBS, BDS, PharmD, MSc Nursing) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Relevant industry experience in a scientific capacity.
Skills:
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in translating scientific data into clear and compliant customer communication.
- Experience collaborating across functions such as Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory.
- High workload capacity with the ability to manage and prioritize complex deliverables.
