Responsibilities in the Job

As a Quality-Medical Affairs Professional (Q-MAP) at Lilly, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring medical quality and compliance in promotional and non-promotional content. Your responsibilities will include:

Brand Team Support:

  • Acting as a key medical liaison for the brand team.
  • Providing clinical and scientific knowledge to support cross-functional teams.
  • Contributing to local brand plans and medical strategies.
  • Reviewing and developing promotional and non-promotional materials.
  • Sharing therapeutic and clinical landscape insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting medical training initiatives for internal business partners.

Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:

  • Analyzing data and assisting in the creation of scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
  • Collaborating with Clinical Research Physicians (CRPs), Clinical Research Scientists (CRS), and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
  • Staying updated on relevant medical literature and advancements in therapeutic areas.
  • Developing knowledge of current trends, clinical practices, and market access challenges.
  • Supporting Scientific Data Disclosure (SDD) plans and ensuring compliance in all deliverables.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Advanced Degree (e.g., MD, PhD) in health sciences with at least 2 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree (e.g., MBBS, BDS, PharmD, MSc Nursing) with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in a scientific capacity.

Skills:

  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in translating scientific data into clear and compliant customer communication.
  • Experience collaborating across functions such as Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory.
  • High workload capacity with the ability to manage and prioritize complex deliverables.

Additional Preferences

  • This is an office-based or hybrid role, depending on geographic necessity.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
