Credence Resource Management is recruiting Clinical Data Abstractors to support medical records review, clinical data abstraction, and medical coding activities.
The position is suitable for candidates with clinical knowledge and experience in extracting, standardizing, and validating patient information from medical records and electronic health record systems.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and abstracting patient information from medical records and EHR systems.
- Capturing diagnoses, procedures, medications, laboratory results, and clinical outcomes.
- Applying medical coding standards, including ICD-10-CM, SNOMED CT, CPT/HCPCS, and MedDRA.
- Performing data validation, quality checks, mapping, and standardization.
- Working with clinical databases, electronic data capture (EDC) systems, registries, and REDCap.
- Following Good Clinical Practice (GCP), data privacy requirements, confidentiality standards, and project-specific protocols.
- Identifying discrepancies and escalating incomplete or ambiguous clinical information.
- Meeting productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time targets.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Clinical Data Abstractor position should meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: BHMS, BUMS, BDS, BPT, or an equivalent medical degree.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in clinical data abstraction and medical records review.
- Knowledge of clinical data management and medical coding.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical concepts.
Experience in oncology/cancer, women’s health, or rare diseases is preferred.
