Job Description: Associate, Regulatory Affairs
Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate, Regulatory Affairs to join its team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This role is critical in ensuring product compliance throughout the product lifecycle for CP Skin Health products. The position reports to the Team Lead, Regulatory Operations and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance Management:
- Ensure product compliance during the entire lifecycle for various product categories.
- Support new product registrations, renewals, variations, notifications, and license applications.
- Regulatory Strategy Execution:
- Collaborate with the Regional Regulatory Affairs Department to implement regulatory strategies.
- Monitor and report progress on timelines, data requirements, and dossier preparation.
- Documentation & Submission:
- Compile and maintain high-quality documentation for regulatory submissions, renewals, and annual registrations.
- Track ongoing documentation and queries from regulatory authorities.
- Database & Archive Management:
- Update and maintain product registration and ingredient databases.
- Ensure accurate archiving of regulatory documents.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with global teams and third-party partners to gather necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working instructions.
- Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance:
- Stay updated on current regulations, guidelines, and standards for medical devices, cosmetics, and consumer goods.
- Ensure all regulatory documents meet local, regional, and corporate requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or product development within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, or FMCG industries.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regional registration and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, SAP, DMS, and regulatory databases.
- Language: Fluency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
