The Associate STEM Content Analyst will work on Derwent content, analyzing patents, identifying novel scientific information, and adding value to patent records using DWPI codes and established editorial standards.
Candidates with an MSc in Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry are eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst – Chemistry at Clarivate, you will:
- Analyze chemistry-related patent documents and identify novel information.
- Extract and value-add patent information using DWPI codes according to editorial policies and conventions.
- Maintain required production volume and quality standards.
- Apply chemistry knowledge while interpreting chemical information in patents.
- Adapt to process, technology, and editorial changes.
- Identify your own technical training and development requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while processing scientific and patent information.
Qualifications
Candidates must have an MSc in Chemistry, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Both fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience can apply.
Skills Required
Applicants should have:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Chemistry
- Chemical nomenclature knowledge
- Understanding of chemical reactions and formulae
