Claight is inviting applications for the position of Market Research Intern in Noida. The internship is for six months and offers a stipend. Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

The selected intern will work with the Competitive Intelligence Team, conducting primary and secondary research, analysing competitor activities, maintaining research trackers, and preparing reports and presentations.

Position: Market Research Intern

The Market Research Intern will support competitive intelligence activities through market research, competitor tracking, survey administration, field visits, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary research through online and offline channels to gather competitor intelligence.
• Administer structured surveys via telephone, online platforms, and in-person interactions.
• Clean and validate survey responses.
• Conduct mystery visits to competitor outlets using checklists to record pricing, promotions, product availability, and service quality.
• Perform secondary research using competitor websites, e-commerce listings, press releases, filings, and news.
• Maintain competitor trackers using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Prepare research summaries, charts, and short presentations.
• Promptly flag significant competitor developments to the team.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Be willing to travel locally for field visits.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to collect, clean, validate, and organise research data.
• Attention to detail when documenting competitor activities.
