Position: Data Analyst 1
The selected candidate will interpret clinical trial data across therapeutic areas and contribute to clinical database products used for systematic literature review, meta-analysis, and informed decision-making during clinical development and post-approval phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of clinical database products across therapeutic areas including Metabolic & CV, Neuroscience, Autoimmune, Oncology, and Respiratory.
- Analyze and annotate clinical trial information covering trial design, treatments, demographics, and outcomes.
- Work with biomarker, clinical, safety, and quality-of-life outcomes across the full time course reported in clinical literature.
- Digitize results from graphs presented on linear, logarithmic, and semi-log scales with precision.
- Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in data analysis activities.
- Work with lead consultants, peer data analysts, and the Quality Manager on database rules, specifications, and quality processes.
- Participate in training programs covering Statistics, R coding, Systematic Literature Review, and Data Analysis Methods.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates should have any of the following:
- Master’s in Pharmacology or Pharmaceutics with relevant experience
- Pharm.D
- Clinical Practice
- Master’s in Public Health and Epidemiology
Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in areas such as:
- Information science
- Systematic literature review
- Health economics
- Public health sectors
Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and clinical research
- Knowledge of clinical development and post-approval phases
- Understanding of the PICOS approach
- Knowledge of clinical trial designs
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data standards and ontologies
- Knowledge of statistics
- Knowledge of data management tools such as R is an added advantage
