Responsibilities in Job
The Biostatistician at Avance Clinical will play a crucial role in analyzing, interpreting, and preparing statistical data for clinical study reports. The primary responsibilities include:
- Preparing listings, tables, and figures for clinical study reports.
- Developing statistical plans and randomization schedules.
- Performing statistical analyses to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assisting with internal review of clinical study reports.
- Coordinating with the Data Management team for data transfer.
- Supporting pharmacokinetic analyses.
- Liaising with bioanalytical laboratories for data transfer.
- Reviewing Data Management Plans and Case Report Forms.
- Preparing and reviewing Edit Check Documents.
- Undertaking other tasks as directed by Line Management.
Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Biostatistician position should meet the following qualification criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with industry experience.
- A higher degree in Biostatistics or Pharmacokinetics is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in statistical analysis in pharmaceutical or health research.
- Working knowledge of ICH GCP Guidelines, medical terminology, and clinical trial processes.
Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in SAS programming (highly desirable).
- Understanding of pharmacokinetics (highly desirable).
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to prepare reports and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and multitasking capability.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
