Job Description
As a Territory/Therapy Business Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies in your assigned territory. Your key tasks include driving primary and secondary sales, ensuring strong brand visibility, and managing the distributor network to meet sales and ethical objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Area Business Planning:
- Plan monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Manage demand generation and fulfillment
- Monitor actual sales and make course corrections as needed
- Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitor brands
- Create and update a customer list of doctors and chemists as per the therapy/product requirements
- Identify potential towns and appoint distributors and customers in line with business goals
Business Generation & Development:
- Achieve sales targets by promoting Abbott products ethically to customers
- Conduct science-based discussions with doctors and chemists
- Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) camps as per division strategy
- Support the launch of new products by targeting key customers and providing feedback to the company
- Execute customer management plans and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
Brand Management:
- Ensure visibility of Abbott brands at retail outlets
- Plan and attend retail meets and market blitzes to drive sales growth
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc in various specializations such as Food Technology, Microbiology, Nursing, Zoology, Agriculture, Chemistry, etc. OR B.Pharm in any specialization
- Skills: Good communication skills and analytical abilities
- Experience: Freshers are encouraged to apply
