Job Description: Biostatistics Trainee
Primary Purpose
The Biostatistics Trainee will work closely with senior biostatisticians and clinical research teams to support biomedical research projects. This role involves assisting in study design, statistical analysis, and reporting for clinical trials across various therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing statistical study documents (protocols, randomization plans) under senior guidance.
- Perform statistical analysis and generate reports/visualizations using SAS/R.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) for statistical deliverables.
- Support the development of clinical study reports and manuscripts.
- Communicate findings effectively within the biostatistics team.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics
- Familiarity with SAS and/or R programming
- Strong understanding of statistical methods in clinical research
- Excellent computational and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
