Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Science Facilitator to teach Grades 6-10 students online. This role involves conducting live classes for 20-30 hours per week, with additional time allocated for class preparation, meetings, student assignments, and examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with the school’s vision and academic culture.
- Develop and prepare daily class content and presentations.
- Research, understand, and prepare lesson plans.
- Conduct online classes as per the timetable and manage substitutions.
- Utilize various learning resources and platforms effectively.
- Plan and execute continuous informal and formal assessments of students.
- Proactively address parents’ communications and concerns on the Learning Portal.
- Ensure adherence to the school’s policies, including child safety and cyber security.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience teaching Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) in the International or British Curriculum for Grades 6-10.
- Qualifications and experience in accordance with Cambridge and IB Guidelines for teaching Science in an international setting.
- Prior experience in an international school setting.
Technical Requirements:
- A good laptop/desktop with an HD webcam and microphone.
- High-speed internet connection (Broadband or Fiber).
Work Hours:
- 6:30 am – 3:30 pm IST
- Follow holidays as per the Malaysian calendar.
