The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. IPC sets drug standards in the country, regularly updates these standards, and promotes the rational use of generic medicines through publications like the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) and the National Formulary of India.

Operations Director – Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI)

Qualification:

Master’s degree in Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Research / Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized university/institute.

Experience:

10 years of experience

Salary:

Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month.

Location:

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

  1. Co-ordinate Operations: Manage ADR Monitoring Centres (AMCs).
  2. Awareness Programs: Design and execute awareness programs through advertising and other engagement models.
  3. National Footprint: Develop strategies to expand the national reach of PvPI.
  4. Incentive Programs: Design and execute incentive programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:
    • Master’s degree in Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Research / Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized university/institute.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in drug safety, pharmacovigilance, or clinical trials.
    • Experience managing multi-location operations.
    • Ability to design and execute systems and communication strategies.
    • Experience in running large public awareness programs.
  • Preferred:
    • MBA as an additional qualification.

Age and Salary

  • Age: Preferably below 50 years (relaxable for suitable candidates).
  • Salary: Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month.
