Valerion Health is hiring experienced IPDRG Medical Coders with CCS certification for a work-from-home position. If you have expertise in inpatient coding (IPDRG), newborn, OBGYN, and critical care charts, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
✔ Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM & CPT/HCPCS codes accurately
✔ Review patient charts for CC (Complication/Comorbidity) & MCC (Major CC)
✔ Handle query resolution and provider adjudication
✔ Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and documentation standards
✔ Verify codes are current, active, and error-free
✔ Collaborate with healthcare providers for clarifications on documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ CCS Certification is mandatory
✔ 4-7 years of IPDRG Medical Coding experience
✔ Strong knowledge of Newborn, OBGYN, and Critical Care coding
✔ Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
✔ Excellent communication & analytical skills
✔ Must have a personal laptop & stable Wi-Fi
Educational Qualification
- Graduate/Post-graduate in Life Sciences/Medical Sciences (Preferred)
