Experience
- Minimum of 4 years in Pharmacovigilance.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with bibliographic databases and search libraries.
Educational Qualifications
- PhD / Pharm D / M.Pharm / B.Pharm / BDS / B.Tech / M.Tech (Lifesciences)
- M.Sc. / B.Sc. (Lifescience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution and implementation of data acquisition and data management processes supporting Pharmacovigilance activities.
- Develop and execute effective search strategies on biomedical databases and content aggregator platforms.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, product terminology, drug nomenclature, and drug class hierarchies.
- Understand medical terminologies and search syntax for leading search databases and platforms, such as OVID, Embase, Medline, and Pubmed.
- Perform comprehensive reviews and analyses of scientific literature to support health agency requests and product submissions.
- Maintain awareness of relevant technologies that could improve content acquisition processes.
- Oversee interactions with external vendors (content partners).
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet end-to-end process needs and achieve business objectives.
- Drive efficiencies and develop solutions that meet process and customer needs with an innovative mindset.
- Exhibit high learning agility to adapt and implement the latest tools and technologies.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of bibliographic datasets and content libraries.
- Hands-on experience setting up searches on OVID, EMBASE, and MEDLINE.
- Proven scientific literature searching skills with experience using pharmaceutical databases and resources.
