Wipro is hiring a Drug Safety Analyst – Literature Specialist in Pune!


  • Minimum of 4 years in Pharmacovigilance.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with bibliographic databases and search libraries.

  1. Oversee the execution and implementation of data acquisition and data management processes supporting Pharmacovigilance activities.
  2. Develop and execute effective search strategies on biomedical databases and content aggregator platforms.
  3. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, product terminology, drug nomenclature, and drug class hierarchies.
  4. Understand medical terminologies and search syntax for leading search databases and platforms, such as OVID, Embase, Medline, and Pubmed.
  5. Perform comprehensive reviews and analyses of scientific literature to support health agency requests and product submissions.
  6. Maintain awareness of relevant technologies that could improve content acquisition processes.
  7. Oversee interactions with external vendors (content partners).
  8. Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet end-to-end process needs and achieve business objectives.
  9. Drive efficiencies and develop solutions that meet process and customer needs with an innovative mindset.
  10. Exhibit high learning agility to adapt and implement the latest tools and technologies.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of bibliographic datasets and content libraries.
  • Hands-on experience setting up searches on OVID, EMBASE, and MEDLINE.
  • Proven scientific literature searching skills with experience using pharmaceutical databases and resources.
