Position
The Junior Research Associate will support preclinical pharmacology and toxicology studies under the supervision of senior researchers. The work includes animal handling, drug administration, monitoring experimental observations, sample processing, data analysis, and preparation of study reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preclinical efficacy, safety pharmacology, and toxicity studies.
- Handle and monitor laboratory animals, primarily rats and mice.
- Support drug administration through different routes after appropriate training.
- Record clinical observations, body weight, food consumption, and treatment-related effects.
- Assist with blood and tissue collection, necropsy, organ weighing, and sample processing.
- Prepare dosing solutions, reagents, labels, and study materials.
- Maintain study records, raw data, protocols, SOPs, and ethical documentation.
- Assist with data analysis, literature reviews, and study report preparation.
- Ensure compliance with approved protocols, animal-welfare requirements, and laboratory procedures.
Eligibility and Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:
- M.Pharm in Pharmacology – preferred.
- M.Sc. in Pharmacology.
- M.Sc. in Toxicology.
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology.
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
Freshers and candidates with up to two years of experience can explore the opportunity.
