1. Intern – IT
This role is designed for a curious and motivated Graduate/Fresher Engineer who wants to develop skills in Data, Automation, AI, Generative AI, and cloud technologies.
2. Programmer Analyst II
The Programmer Analyst II performs bioinformatics programming activities for statistical and computational considerations of research projects and works as part of a study team under the direction of a lead programmer.
Responsibilities
Intern – IT
- Work with data using Python and SQL for preparation, analysis, transformation, and basic data quality checks.
- Develop scripts, utilities, and automation solutions.
- Contribute to data pipelines and data engineering solutions using Python, PySpark, Databricks, and cloud platforms.
- Build Generative AI prototypes using LLMs, APIs, and prompt engineering.
- Explore AI-assisted solutions for information extraction, summarization, search, insights, and workflow automation.
- Assist with APIs and software component integration.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Perform testing, validation, debugging, and documentation.
- Translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Follow practices involving Git, Agile, CI/CD, data governance, and responsible AI.
Programmer Analyst II
- Create, execute, maintain, and validate programs that transfer and combine data across systems.
- Generate reports and summary data from multiple sources and databases.
- Validate programs that generate listings, tables, and figures using SAS.
- Prepare and analyze clinical trial patient datasets.
- Work with datasets including laboratory data, vital signs, tumor response, imaging, quality-of-life questionnaires, and adverse events.
- Consult with researchers and multidisciplinary project teams on technology-based solutions and computational strategies.
- Develop customized code using existing tools and applications.
- Contribute to clinical bioinformatics and technical outputs.
- Assist with lead programming activities under management oversight and review.
- Follow departmental working practices and SOPs.
- Develop programming, clinical trial, and pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Intern – IT
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
Core requirements:
- Good programming fundamentals, preferably Python.
- Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and data.
- Understanding of programming concepts, data structures, debugging, and problem solving.
- Interest in Data Engineering, Automation, AI, and Generative AI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate with a team.
Programmer Analyst II
Candidates should have an MS/MA degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in these fields or equivalent with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications.
The position requires at least 2 years of experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role.
