Responsibilities in the Job

As a Medical Reviewer at TCS, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Medical Review: Conduct thorough reviews of clinical cases, including solicited and spontaneous reports, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of adverse events.
  • Causality Assessment: Evaluate and document causality, seriousness, and relevant medical history, including laboratory data and concomitant medications.
  • Knowledge Development: Maintain in-depth knowledge of disease biology and safety concerns related to marketed and developmental drugs.
  • Support Drug Safety Teams: Provide medical insights and support to ensure high-quality processing of adverse event data.
  • Client Interaction: Represent the safety physician team in internal and external forums, addressing queries related to individual case safety reports.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to global and local regulations, as well as TCS policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Medical Reviewer position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: An MBBS or equivalent degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 9 months to 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or clinical research, with a focus on drug safety.

Successful candidates should possess a mix of technical and interpersonal skills, including:

  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drug safety principles and regulatory processes.
