Role Overview
As a QC Microbiology Analyst at Syngene, based in Bangalore, you will play a key role in microbiological and chemical analysis for pharmaceutical products and environments. You will ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and quality standards, supporting operations critical to the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Microbiological Analysis
- Perform microbiological tests such as Bioburden, Microbial Limit Tests (MLT), Bacterial Endotoxin Tests (BET), and analysis for specified organisms.
- Execute environmental and utility monitoring, including cleanroom environments.
- Conduct method verification activities for BET, MLT, and Bioburden tests.
Water and Sample Management
- Handle chemical analysis of various water grades, including PW, WFI, and POW.
- Manage sampling procedures and coordinate with the team for efficient sample release.
Laboratory Maintenance
- Maintain microbiology labs, including sterilization, media preparation, growth promotion, and disposal.
- Monitor laboratory equipment, cleanrooms, and maintain hygiene practices.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, EHSS policies, and good hygiene practices.
- Complete mandatory training on health, safety, and data integrity measures.
Experience and Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
Professional Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in microbiological analysis, particularly in pharmaceutical or related industries.
Skills and Competencies
- Expertise in microbial analysis, environmental monitoring, and water sampling.
