Position: Scientific & Medical Writer
The Scientific & Medical Writer will create, curate, and validate pharmaceutical and clinical research content for AdisInsight and AskAdisAI. The role involves reviewing multiple information sources, summarizing drug development milestones, and accurately documenting clinical trial details to support pharmaceutical industry stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and validate scientific content for AdisInsight and AskAdisAI.
- Summarize key drug development milestones using published reports, trial registries, medical journals, and media releases.
- Write accurate and concise summaries of scientific publications and updates.
- Identify and record clinical trial information, including study status, phase, design, endpoints, treatments, results, and timelines.
- Consolidate information from multiple scientific and medical sources.
- Resolve queries raised by peer team members and support project activities.
- Provide guidance to less-experienced team members.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the team lead or manager.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Springer Nature Scientific & Medical Writer job must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine.
- Total Experience: Minimum 3 years.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years in a biotechnology company, pharmaceutical company, or Clinical Research Organisation (CRO).
- Strong understanding of drug development, clinical research, and pharmaceutical or medical terminology.
- Experience in scientific writing, literature review, and evaluation of scientific information.
Preference will be given to candidates previously trained and experienced in AdisInsight Drugs/RDI content curation, at least at the standard Scientific & Medical Writer level and ideally at the Senior level.
