Key Responsibilities
As a Specialist, Global Clinical Solutions (GCS), you will play a critical role in delivering global centralized services that support AstraZeneca’s clinical development programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering GCS services to ensure high-quality data from clinical operations processes, procedures, and systems.
- Setting up and maintaining systems/tools and data associated with projects, services, and technology.
- Supporting life cycle management and business continuity for operational processes, systems, and documentation.
- Providing training and support to user communities, facilitating knowledge sharing, and establishing standard processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects and participating in change initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and deliver task-oriented performance.
- Proficiency in computer systems and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to exhibit AstraZeneca’s values and behaviors.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- A university degree in biological science or a healthcare-related field.
- Understanding of the clinical study process and pharmaceutical drug development.
- Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical study delivery.
- Knowledge of ICH GCP and government regulations.
- Programming experience or aptitude.
- GxP training is a plus.
