Responsibilities in the Job
As a Site Engagement Liaison, your primary responsibilities include:
- Site Start-Up and Activation: You will manage the start-up and activation of assigned sites, collaborating with key stakeholders to execute site strategies effectively.
- Study Start-Up Activities: Conduct necessary activities at the site level, such as finalizing informed consent documents (ICD), coordinating checklist items for site activation, and ensuring readiness for first subject first visit (FSFV).
- Site Monitoring and Relationship Management: Act as the operational point of contact for all site-level questions. Build and maintain strong relationships with investigator sites to facilitate smooth communication and problem resolution.
- Oversight and Management: Ensure that all study conduct and close-out activities are coordinated efficiently, and monitor site deliverables, ensuring alignment with study targets.
- Local Intelligence Provision: Gather and provide insights on site recommendations, processes, and site performance metrics, contributing valuable information to the Study Operations Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Site Engagement Liaison position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, estimated at a minimum of 5 years.
- Proficiency in the local language and fluency in English.
- Demonstrated experience in site management, particularly in start-up and activation, as well as in conduct and close-out activities.
Skills and Technical Competencies
Candidates must have:
- A solid understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
- Proficient computer skills, and the ability to adapt to and embrace new technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships within and outside the organization.
- An ability to travel up to 75% regularly to various sites.
