Job Responsibilities
Depending on the department and role (Executive, Senior Executive, or Assistant Manager), responsibilities include:
- Engineering (Electrical/Maintenance/Water Plant): Oversee maintenance of equipment, ensure operational efficiency, and manage water plant systems for biologics production.
- QC Analytical (RM/PM/DS/DP/Stability Studies/QMS): Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, packaging materials, drug substances, drug products, and stability studies. Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- QC Microbiology (EM/MLT Studies/QMS): Perform environmental monitoring (EM), microbial limit testing (MLT), and ensure compliance with QMS standards.
- Analytical QA (Biosimilars/Mabs): Review QC Analytical and Microbiology documents, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support biosimilar/monoclonal antibody (Mabs) development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related fields.
- Experience: 2-8 years in biopharma, injectables, or biosimilars, preferably in QC, QA, or engineering roles.
- Skills: Expertise in QMS, GMP, stability studies, EM, MLT, or equipment maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in biopharma or quality control are a plus.
