The Role: Scientific Writer – Hyderabad
As a Scientific Writer within Sanofi’s Business Operations (SBO) team, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality medical and scientific content. The SBO is a crucial internal resource, centralizing processes and activities to support various functions, including Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, R&D, Data & Digital. Your work will directly contribute to the effective communication of scientific data and medical insights to healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:Â Develop specialized medical and scientific content, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and other medical education materials, with limited supervision.
- End-to-End Process Management:Â Support the entire publication/medical education content development process, ensuring proper documentation and approvals within PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Therapeutic Area Expertise:Â Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assigned therapeutic area, becoming a subject matter expert.
- Collaboration:Â Work closely with peers and stakeholders to develop best practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality content.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Â Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (medical scientific community) to understand their needs and develop tailored communication materials.
- Publication Planning Support:Â Assist the scientific communication team in conducting comprehensive publication-need analyses and implementing relevant elements of the publication plan.
- Vendor Management:Â Collaborate with selected vendors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of required deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement:Â Design plans of action based on end-user feedback to continuously improve course content and delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:Â A minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
- Education: An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline, or a medical degree (MBBS, MD).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong therapeutic area/domain knowledge.
- Familiarity with publication submission processes.
- Project management skills.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Language:Â Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
