Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Optimize Analytical Methods: Create and refine methods for assay, dissolution, and related substances for small molecule drug products.
- Method Validation and Transfer: Execute validation and transfer activities in compliance with ICH, USP, and EP regulatory guidelines.
- Impurity Profiling and Stability Studies: Conduct degradation studies and develop stability-indicating methods to ensure product quality.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed method development reports, equivalency reports, and Standard Test Procedures (STPs).
- Troubleshooting: Resolve analytical challenges during routine and stability studies to maintain project timelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to current regulatory standards and Aurobindo’s internal quality protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: M.Pharm or M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Analysis.
- Experience: 3–8 years in analytical method development for pharmaceutical formulations.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HPLC, UPLC, GC, and dissolution apparatus; familiarity with chromatographic software (Empower, Chromeleon, OpenLab).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of ICH Q2, USP, EP, and JP guidelines.
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
