Primary Responsibilities
As a QC Microbiology Technical Specialist, you will oversee critical processes that ensure the quality and compliance of our vaccine products. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Test Documentation Management (35%)
- Review, verify, and approve test results.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of necessary documentation.
- Expedite the documentation process to facilitate product release to the market.
- Monitor weekly test approvals to adhere to product timelines.
2. Quality Systems and Documentation (35%)
- Revise and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
- Manage Change Control and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Lead investigations related to laboratory non-conformances.
3. Audit Support (20%)
- Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and audit responses.
- Ensure timely filing and completion of all Good Practice (GxP) documents.
4. Administrative Duties (10%)
- Manage orders with both external and internal vendors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this essential role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- A Bachelor of Science in Biological Science or a related field.
Key Competencies
- Proficient experience in microbiological practices and analytical techniques such as LAL, Bioburden, and Organism Identification.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Excellent analytical skills and strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
