Job Description: Associate Scientific Writer
Sanofi is seeking an Associate Scientific Writer to join its team in Hyderabad. This role involves creating specialized medical and scientific content, supporting the end-to-end publication process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development:
- Create medical education and publication materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, etc.) as per agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Support the development of therapeutic area expertise and ensure content aligns with scientific communication strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, internal teams, and vendors to ensure seamless content delivery.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and scientific communication teams to identify publication needs.
- Process Management:
- Assist in conducting comprehensive publication-need analysis and implement relevant elements of the publication plan.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure deliverables meet defined processes and quality standards.
- Strategic Support:
- Provide strategic input to enhance publication and medical education content.
- Design action plans based on end-user feedback to improve content quality and delivery.
About You
Experience:
- Up to 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
Education:
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline. A medical degree is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of therapeutic areas, publication submission processes, and project management.
- Proficiency in tools like PromoMats/iEnvision (previously Datavision/MATRIX).
Languages:
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
