Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Scientific Writer, you will:
✔ Develop specialized medical/scientific content (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks) under supervision.
✔ Support end-to-end publication and medical education content development.
✔ Ensure compliance with documentation and approval processes (PromoMats/iEnvision).
✔ Build expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and collaborate with stakeholders.
✔ Work with healthcare professionals to refine publication content.
✔ Assist in publication-need analysis and execute publication plans.
✔ Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely, high-quality deliverables.
People & Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with medical professionals to align content with scientific needs.
- Collaborate with Scientific Communication teams, Product Managers, and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
Performance & Process:
- Deliver high-quality medical writing within deadlines.
- Support field medical communication and publication planning.
- Optimize content based on end-user feedback.
Eligibility Criteria
Experience:
- 1-3 years in medical/scientific writing (pharma/healthcare/academia).
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management & communication.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Technical Skills:
- Therapeutic area knowledge.
- Publication submission experience (optional).
- Project management skills (a plus).
Education:
- Advanced degree (Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Medicine or related field).
Language:
- Fluent English (written & spoken).
