Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Coordinating with Process R&D and Technology Transfer teams for new projects.
• Verifying new production projects with respect to quality, yield, safety, and batch cycle time.
• Managing all production operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Preparing and reviewing production schedules aligned with business targets.
• Delivering products according to customer requirements and production plans.
• Managing production manpower and assigning responsibilities effectively.
• Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
• Preparing, reviewing, and revising SOPs in coordination with Quality teams.
• Ensuring manufacturing activities comply with Batch Production Records (BPRs).
• Coordinating with service departments for timely completion of support activities.
• Maintaining housekeeping standards and implementing 5S practices.
• Managing Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Reviewing deviations, investigations, change controls, and CAPA activities.
• Conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurring quality issues.
• Monitoring campaign performance and maintaining process consistency.
• Managing plant inventories and operational expenses.
• Training teams on cGMP, safety procedures, and business excellence initiatives.
• Supporting internal and external audits.
• Driving cost reduction, capacity enhancement, and operational improvement projects.
• Managing solvent-related activities including stock verification and emission control.
• Participating in Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) programs.
• Reviewing qualification and validation documents such as URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, and VMP.
• Preparing and reviewing HSE documentation including HAZOP studies and work permit systems.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess any of the following relevant qualifications:

• B.Pharm
• M.Pharm
• B.Sc
• M.Sc
• B.Tech
• BE Chemical Engineering
• Other relevant pharmaceutical, chemical, or engineering qualifications

Required Experience

• Significant experience in API Production and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Strong exposure to cGMP, Quality Systems, Safety Compliance, Validation, and Technology Transfer activities.
• Experience in handling production teams, audits, investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
