Responsibilities of a Safety Associate Trainee
As a Safety Associate Trainee at IQVIA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical treatments. Your key responsibilities include:
- Processing Safety Data: Review and assess safety data from various sources, ensuring compliance with regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and project requirements.
- Adverse Event (AE) Management: Collect, track, and determine the status of incoming adverse events or endpoint information.
- Database Entry and Coding: Enter data into databases, code adverse events and products, and write detailed narratives.
- Literature-Related Activities: Conduct literature reviews as per project needs.
- Training and Compliance: Complete assigned trainings on time and adhere to IQVIA’s people practices and processes with 100% compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Meet productivity and quality standards, identifying and escalating any quality issues to senior team members.
- Team Collaboration: Attend project meetings, provide feedback, and take on additional workflow responsibilities as directed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the operations team or manager.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel as a Safety Associate Trainee, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline, or allied life sciences. A high school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Medical Terminology: Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential.
