Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Artwork & Compliance Review:
- Review artwork for Cosmetic (India & Export), Drugs (India), and Homecare (India & Export) products as per regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure cosmetic formulations comply with country-specific regulations.
✔ Regulatory Support for R&D:
- Provide inputs to R&D on New Product Development (NPD) regarding ingredient status, usage limits, and specifications.
✔ Drug Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure drug products comply with Indian regulations, DPCO, and NPPA guidelines.
- Understand Central and State Drug Authority requirements.
✔ Industry & Regulatory Engagement:
- Participate in BIS subcommittee meetings (PCD-19 & CHD-25) and industry workshops.
- Monitor and communicate regulatory updates to stakeholders.
✔ International Market Compliance:
- Prepare and submit applications for cosmetic registrations/notifications in global markets.
- Maintain documentation as per regulatory requirements.
✔ Handling Consumer & Legal Queries:
- Address consumer complaints, ASCI notices, and FDA queries.
- Support international teams with regulatory documentation.
✔ Certifications & Standards:
- Knowledge of IFRA, PETA, COSMOS, ECOCERT, HALAL, and VEGAN certifications is a plus.
- Review BIS Quality Control Orders (QCO) and assess impact on product portfolio.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: M. Pharma
- Experience: 5-7 years in Cosmetic & Drug Regulatory Affairs (Home Care & Personal Care) in FMCG.
- Preferred Experience:
- Cosmetics (India & Export markets)
- Drugs (India market)
- Homecare (India & Export markets)
