Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Artwork & Compliance Review:

  • Review artwork for Cosmetic (India & Export), Drugs (India), and Homecare (India & Export) products as per regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure cosmetic formulations comply with country-specific regulations.

✔ Regulatory Support for R&D:

  • Provide inputs to R&D on New Product Development (NPD) regarding ingredient status, usage limits, and specifications.

✔ Drug Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure drug products comply with Indian regulations, DPCO, and NPPA guidelines.
  • Understand Central and State Drug Authority requirements.

✔ Industry & Regulatory Engagement:

  • Participate in BIS subcommittee meetings (PCD-19 & CHD-25) and industry workshops.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory updates to stakeholders.

✔ International Market Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit applications for cosmetic registrations/notifications in global markets.
  • Maintain documentation as per regulatory requirements.

✔ Handling Consumer & Legal Queries:

  • Address consumer complaints, ASCI notices, and FDA queries.
  • Support international teams with regulatory documentation.

✔ Certifications & Standards:

  • Knowledge of IFRA, PETA, COSMOS, ECOCERT, HALAL, and VEGAN certifications is a plus.
  • Review BIS Quality Control Orders (QCO) and assess impact on product portfolio.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: M. Pharma
  • Experience: 5-7 years in Cosmetic & Drug Regulatory Affairs (Home Care & Personal Care) in FMCG.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Cosmetics (India & Export markets)
    • Drugs (India market)
    • Homecare (India & Export markets)
