Role Overview
As a Lab Analyst – QA/QC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of laboratory testing processes. This includes inspecting samples, conducting analytical tests, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sample Analysis and Testing
- Inspect routine samples upon receipt and allocate them for appropriate analysis.
- Conduct tests adhering to standard methods or work instructions.
- Validate results using validation techniques before reporting to ensure accuracy.
- Detect exceptions or deviations and report them to the concerned authority.
Laboratory Operations
- Manage sample storage and disposal safely.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and instruments for future use.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lab (Good Housekeeping).
Data and Compliance Management
- Record data in raw data books, process registers, and LIMS.
- Follow applicable HSEF (Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire) procedures and practices.
- Handle chemicals and tools safely, adhering to statutory and environmental regulations.
Training and Development
- Participate in internal and external training programs to enhance skills and competencies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and safety standards.
Educational Qualifications
- Required: B.Sc. in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Experience Required
- Preferably 2 years of experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing or chemical industry.

- Knowledge of testing procedures and accurate result reporting.
- Proficiency in handling various sample types and chemical/instrumental testing methods.
- Familiarity with critical process stream samples and associated results.
