Position: R&D PDM Associate – Self Care
The position involves managing scientific and technical activities across product development and supply resilience projects. The role supports formulation assessment, regulatory compliance, manufacturing solutions, and the delivery of technical projects within established timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage R&D technical activities, compliance programmes, and supply resilience projects for Self-care brands.
- Support manufacturing, procurement, and packaging projects by developing technical solutions and resolving manufacturing process issues.
- Coordinate formulation development, feasibility studies, analysis, validation, stability testing, and industrial trials.
- Ensure timely preparation of regulatory dossiers and other required technical documentation.
- Manage project execution, budgets, KPIs, milestones, and stage-gate deliverables.
- Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment in an audit-ready condition.
- Conduct formulation assessments for the Self-care product portfolio.
- Manage regulatory submissions, variations, and responses to regulatory technical queries (RTQs).
- Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, Supply, and Production teams.
- Identify process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and solutions to technical challenges.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Biochemistry.
- Significant research and development experience with a demonstrated record of delivery.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder management.
- Working knowledge of Common Technical Document (CTD) modules and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with R&D and non-R&D functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications such as an MSc, PhD, or postgraduate diploma.
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality by Design.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
