Position: Apprentice – Production
The Apprentice will support departmental production activities, learn to operate production equipment, monitor manufacturing and packing operations, and help maintain product quality, data integrity, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the production department.
- Monitor and control departmental activities according to 21 CFR Part 111 and applicable regulations.
- Support production productivity while maintaining specified quality standards.
- Maintain company quality systems and protect data integrity.
- Implement sanitation activities and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor dispensing of raw materials and packing materials.
- Ensure appropriate waste disposal and material segregation.
- Allocate manpower and monitor manufacturing and packing activities.
- Perform in-process checks and update departmental records.
- Report incidents to the Human Resources and Safety departments.
- Support effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, electricity, water, steam, and compressed air.
- Maintain the cleanliness of machines and production areas, including walls, floors, ceilings, windows, and scrap areas.
- Ensure machine and area cleanliness after preventive maintenance.
- Follow applicable workplace safety measures.
- Learn to operate production-area equipment.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, accidents, and near misses.
