Responsibilities in the Role
As an ADL Apprentice, you will:
- Develop analytical methods for newly developed products independently.
- Handle LC-MS/HPLC method development.
- Interpret IR and NMR spectra.
- Perform impurity profiling of drug substances and isolate impurities.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments during technical issues.
- Conduct calibration of analytical instruments, including HPLC, pH meters, and Prep HPLC systems.
- Handle Supercritical Fluid Chromatography and other advanced tools.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- An M.Sc or M.Pharm degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a relevant field.
Skills Required
- Expertise in analytical techniques such as LC-MS, HPLC, and IR/NMR spectra interpretation.
- Strong understanding of impurity isolation and characterization.
- Technical skills for instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently on method development tasks.
- Knowledge of Shimadzu Technology and advanced chromatography techniques.
