Responsibilities in the Role

As an ADL Apprentice, you will:

  • Develop analytical methods for newly developed products independently.
  • Handle LC-MS/HPLC method development.
  • Interpret IR and NMR spectra.
  • Perform impurity profiling of drug substances and isolate impurities.
  • Troubleshoot analytical instruments during technical issues.
  • Conduct calibration of analytical instruments, including HPLC, pH meters, and Prep HPLC systems.
  • Handle Supercritical Fluid Chromatography and other advanced tools.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • An M.Sc or M.Pharm degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a relevant field.

Skills Required

  • Expertise in analytical techniques such as LC-MS, HPLC, and IR/NMR spectra interpretation.
  • Strong understanding of impurity isolation and characterization.
  • Technical skills for instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently on method development tasks.
  • Knowledge of Shimadzu Technology and advanced chromatography techniques.
