L’Oréal R&I in Bangalore is seeking a passionate PreFormulation Intern for a 6–9 month internship. This opportunity is ideal for those eager to explore the cutting-edge world of cosmetic formulation and contribute to innovative beauty products.

Key Responsibilities in the Role

As a PreFormulation Intern, you will:

  1. Conduct Solubility Studies: Analyze the solubility of active ingredients for cosmetic applications.
  2. Prepare Cosmetic Formulation Batches: Develop formulations, including gels, serums, creams, and cleansers, incorporating active ingredients.
  3. Monitor Stability: Assess the accelerated thermal stability of actives and formulations.
  4. Coordinate with Analytical Teams: Work closely with analytical experts to ensure accurate evaluation.
  5. Document Results: Compile findings into detailed reports for further research and development.

Qualifications: What You Need to Succeed

  • Educational Background:
    • M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry
    • M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics
  • Formulation Expertise:
    • Understanding the physiochemical properties of cosmetic products.
    • Previous experience or dissertation work in cosmetic or pharmaceutical formulations is a plus.
