Responsibilities in the Job
As an Intern – Associate Clinical Data Scientist at Novartis, you will play a pivotal role in supporting data management and clinical database delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the management of data deliverables for clinical trials, ensuring cost, quality, and timely execution.
- Collaborating on writing specifications for study-specific validation checks and reports to ensure consistent and high-quality data.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing local lab setup for the clinical database.
- Conducting ongoing reviews of clinical study data, including third-party and local lab data reconciliation.
- Creating engaging content and graphics for training modules and operational applications.
- Supporting audit readiness, ensuring adherence to quality compliance standards, and driving corrective action plans (CAPAs).
- Accurately coding and managing clinical data, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
- Tracking and reporting the status of assigned tasks while maintaining up-to-date tracking systems.
