Job Description: Research Ops Intern – Clinical Data
Triomics is looking for a highly motivated Research Ops Intern with expertise in oncology, clinical research, and data curation. This role involves analyzing Electronic Health Records (EHRs), medical reports, and clinical trial protocols to support patient pre-screening and trial eligibility assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Clinical Trials Expertise: Interpret Inclusion & Exclusion (I/E) criteria from clinicaltrials.gov and study protocols to assess patient eligibility.
✔ Data Extraction & Curation: Extract and analyze patient notes, medical history, lab results, diagnoses, and treatments from EHRs.
✔ Medical Terminology: Understand complex oncology terms for accurate data interpretation.
✔ Data Management: Maintain datasets using Google Sheets & Excel with high accuracy.
✔ Patient Pre-screening: Assist in pre-screening patients for oncology clinical trials.
✔ Quality Assurance: Validate extracted data for consistency and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Clinical Research, Health Informatics, Oncology, or related fields.
- 6+ months experience in clinical/oncology research, data abstraction, or curation.
- Clinical Trial Certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and EHR systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
