Omega Healthcare is urgently hiring E&M OP/IP and ED (Evaluation & Management – Outpatient/Inpatient & Emergency Department) ProFee & Facility Medical Coders and Senior Coders for Chennai & Bangalore locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for E&M OP/IP & ED services.
- Ensure compliance with CMS, AMA, and payer-specific guidelines.
- Perform ProFee (Professional Fee) and Facility coding for emergency and outpatient/inpatient records.
- Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain coding accuracy.
- Work on denial management and appeals as needed.
- Stay updated with coding regulations and industry changes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Certification: CPC, COC, CCS, or CIC certification preferred (but not mandatory for experienced candidates).
- Experience: Minimum 6 months to 5 years in E&M OP/IP & ED coding (ProFee & Facility).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding guidelines.
- Familiarity with EPIC, Cerner, or other EHR systems is a plus.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
