Role Overview
The Production Associate will be responsible for managing production execution across third-party manufacturing partners. The role acts as a key coordination and execution point between manufacturing partners and internal teams, ensuring that products are produced as per approved formulations, specifications, quality standards, timelines, and cost expectations.
This is not a purely coordination-based position. Nutrabay is looking for someone who can work closely with manufacturers on the ground, identify and resolve production challenges, and support the transition of new products from R&D trials to commercial production.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and drive production execution with third-party and contract manufacturing partners.
- Ensure manufacturing is carried out as per approved formulations, specifications, timelines, and quality requirements.
- Support NPD scale-up and commercialization from trial batches to commercial production.
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes for deviations, failures, rework, and production losses.
- Work with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to maintain smooth execution.
- Track and improve manufacturer performance across yield, wastage, cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Develop and strengthen SOPs, production dashboards, performance tracking, and manufacturer accountability.
- Challenge external manufacturing partners when quality, timeline, or specification requirements are not being met.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 2-3 years of work experience in food, nutraceutical, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with production processes, manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and scale-up.
- Experience working with or managing third-party or contract manufacturing partners.
- Ability to manage production planning through final dispatch with strong ownership.
