Job Description: Research Associate – HEOR
As a Research Associate at Norstella, you will support the US-based HEOR team in conducting observational research studies using real-world data (RWD). This is a remote position based in India, offering a unique opportunity to work with global experts in pharmaceutical research.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct literature reviews (PubMed, medical journals) to support HEOR studies.
✔ Summarize disease prevalence, treatment patterns, and outcomes data.
✔ Assist in defining patient cohorts using ICD-10, CPT, NDC codes.
✔ Prepare table shells (Excel) for study protocols (cohort selection, baseline characteristics).
✔ Collaborate with US and India teams via daily Microsoft Teams meetings.
✔ Support real-world data (RWD) projects involving claims data, EMR, and lab data.
Qualifications:
✅ 2-5 years of experience in pharma/biotech, healthcare consulting, or HEOR research.
✅ Prior work with US/global HEOR teams is a plus.
✅ Experience with real-world data (RWD) – claims, EMR, or lab data preferred.
✅ Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, epidemiology, or related field.
✅ Strong English communication (written & verbal).
✅ Ability to work independently with high accuracy.
