The ARC Linkage Program facilitates collaborative research projects with industry, government, and community organizations to advance Australian research and innovation globally. The program supports researchers to address significant challenges and develop solutions that benefit the broader Australian community.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contribute independently or as part of a team to enhance research quality.
  • Conduct and support specific research projects.
  • Disseminate research outcomes through appropriate channels.
  • Undertake discipline-appropriate research activities.
  • Participate in and/or present at relevant conferences and workshops.
  • Assist with the coordination of meetings and workshops.
  • Assist with data analysis and lead the authoring of the final report.
  • Manage relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary education, nearing completion of a PhD focused on migration/migrant women, or relevant work experience.
  • Commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  • Track record of publications and conference presentations.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with diverse stakeholders and students.
  • Understanding of UNSW’s aims, objectives, and values.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities.
  • Lived experience of western or southwest Sydney (desirable).
  • Knowledge of quantitative data analysis and fluency in a community language (desirable).
