Position Overview
The Business Intelligence Analyst will join Medpace’s Data Engineering team to develop analytics and business intelligence capabilities across the organisation. The role involves working closely with the US Data Engineering team to implement data initiatives, support data architecture, analyse complex datasets, and create reports and dashboards for business decision-making.
The position offers exposure to business intelligence concepts ranging from data warehousing to AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Conduct complex data analysis and identify business insights to support departmental decisions.
- SQL and Python: Apply or develop technical skills in SQL, Python, and related data engineering concepts.
- Data Modelling: Work with dimensional modelling and data warehousing to support analytics initiatives.
- Data Architecture: Collaborate with data engineers to implement data architecture and design solutions.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Design and develop key metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business insights.
- Business Intelligence: Help improve operational performance, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Medpace to deliver enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in business intelligence or data engineering.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills are preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
