Job Summary:
Medidigest is seeking a Medical Scribe who will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters. The role requires accuracy in documenting medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Patient Encounters: Accurately transcribe patient encounters, medical histories, and physical exams as they occur.
- Update Patient Charts: Assist healthcare providers by recording diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lab results in patient charts.
- Transcribe Information: Capture essential patient information, including medical history, medications, test results, and treatment notes.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all documentation complies with clinical and legal standards.
- Organize Information: Maintain and organize patient data while ensuring confidentiality.
- Clarify Information: Communicate with healthcare providers to confirm or clarify details as needed.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, B.Sc. Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Exceptional typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required.
