Key Responsibilities
The selected Medical Writer will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive literature reviews.
- Developing scientific manuscripts for publication.
- Preparing abstracts for conferences and journals.
- Creating publication-ready tables, figures, and illustrations.
- Formatting citations and references according to journal guidelines.
- Performing scientific and editorial reviews.
- Conducting grammar, scientific language, Quality Check (QC), and Data Fact Check (DFC).
- Creating reference binders for publication projects.
- Identifying suitable journals based on therapeutic area and manuscript scope.
- Preparing submission documents and coordinating author approvals.
- Managing online journal submissions.
- Responding to editorial office queries.
- Tracking manuscript submission status and providing regular updates.
- Preparing reviewer response documents.
- Revising manuscripts based on peer-review comments.
- Managing manuscript resubmission.
- Reviewing journal proofs and coordinating post-acceptance corrections.
