Job Description: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Sr. MSL – Vaccines
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Scientific Exchange & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Disseminate medical and clinical data on vaccines and related therapeutic areas.
- Provide non-promotional, evidence-based medical information to physicians.
✅ Medical Education & Training
- Organize and deliver CME programs, scientific symposia, and advisory boards.
- Train internal teams (sales & marketing) on disease management and product updates.
- Attend medical congresses, summarize key findings, and share insights.
✅ KOL Management & Insights Generation
- Identify, profile, and engage Tier 1 & Tier 2 KOLs in the vaccine segment.
- Map public policy stakeholders and maintain long-term scientific relationships.
- Gather field insights to shape medical strategies.
✅ Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, clinical research, and regulatory teams to support business objectives.
- Assist in investigator-sponsored trials (ISTs) and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education:
- Mandatory:
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. in Life Sciences) OR
- Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D) OR
- Medical Graduate (MBBS, MD recognized by MCI)
- Preferred:
- MD (Medicine) / Post-graduate medical degree
- Pharm.D with vaccine/immunology expertise
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year in pharmaceutical industry (Vaccines experience preferred).
- Strong scientific acumen in infectious diseases, immunology, or vaccines.
