Job Description: Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Sr. MSL – Vaccines

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Scientific Exchange & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Disseminate medical and clinical data on vaccines and related therapeutic areas.
  • Provide non-promotional, evidence-based medical information to physicians.

✅ Medical Education & Training

  • Organize and deliver CME programs, scientific symposia, and advisory boards.
  • Train internal teams (sales & marketing) on disease management and product updates.
  • Attend medical congresses, summarize key findings, and share insights.

✅ KOL Management & Insights Generation

  • Identify, profile, and engage Tier 1 & Tier 2 KOLs in the vaccine segment.
  • Map public policy stakeholders and maintain long-term scientific relationships.
  • Gather field insights to shape medical strategies.

✅ Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, clinical research, and regulatory teams to support business objectives.
  • Assist in investigator-sponsored trials (ISTs) and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education:

  • Mandatory:
    • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. in Life Sciences) OR
    • Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D) OR
    • Medical Graduate (MBBS, MD recognized by MCI)
  • Preferred:
    • MD (Medicine) / Post-graduate medical degree
    • Pharm.D with vaccine/immunology expertise

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year in pharmaceutical industry (Vaccines experience preferred).
  • Strong scientific acumen in infectious diseases, immunology, or vaccines.
