This pivotal Medical Affairs role empowers healthcare providers with accurate, timely, and evidence-based medical information, supporting better patient outcomes.
As part of Azurityโs mission to provide accessible, high-quality medications in cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, institutional, and orphan markets, this role bridges science, communication, and patient care.
๐ Key Responsibilities
- Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare providers (HCPs), payers, and managed care organizations.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and scientifically sound information on Azurityโs products.
- Support and guide the Medical Information Call Center with escalated cases, training, and coaching.
- Develop and maintain a product knowledge database, including SRLs and FAQs.
- Analyze reports and metrics to identify insights, trends, and knowledge gaps.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, and Regulatory teams.
- Collaborate on content updates, knowledge-sharing presentations, and Promotional & Scientific Review Committees (PMRC & SRC).
- Assist in coordinating and reviewing legal contracts related to Medical Affairs activities.
๐ Qualifications
- Preferred: PharmD, PhD, or advanced degree in health sciences.
- Considered: Bachelorโs/Masterโs in health sciences (e.g., RN, RPh, NP, PA).
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year in Medical Affairs/Medical Information.
- Preferred training: Medical/Drug Information fellowship, residency, or industry postdoctoral training.
