Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Monitor the company’s Materiovigilance and Medical Device Surveillance Program.
- Receive, evaluate, process and follow up on adverse event reports.
- Maintain Medical Device Reports (MDRs) accurately.
- Manage Adverse Drug Experience (ADE) data in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Review clinical databases for extraction and analysis of safety information.
- Support standardized Post Market Surveillance (PMS) activities.
- Prepare and maintain PMS Plans and PMS Reports.
- Develop and maintain Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs).
- Conduct proactive surveillance through literature reviews and regulatory database searches.
- Perform reactive surveillance including complaint handling and field safety actions.
- Support CAPA investigations.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Coordinate Materiovigilance regulatory activities with State and Central Drugs Control authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable medical device regulations.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- B.Sc in any specialization.
- 2โ5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Materiovigilance or Pharmacovigilance.
- Knowledge of Medical Device Reporting (MDR).
- Experience with Post Market Surveillance (PMS).
- PSUR preparation experience.
- Understanding of complaint handling processes.
- Documentation and regulatory compliance skills.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
