Key Responsibilities
The selected Pharmacist will be responsible for:
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and promptly
- Processing billing for inpatient and outpatient pharmacy items
- Participating in pharmacy formulary development
- Implementing pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining proper drug storage and documentation
- Monitoring patient medication profiles and ensuring cost-effective therapy
- Managing drug inventory and stock control systems
- Monitoring new, non-moving, and expired stock items
- Ensuring compliance with patient safety policies and hospital regulations
- Following Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines
- Supporting hospital disaster management programs
- Ensuring proper equipment utilization and biomedical waste disposal
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or any graduate degree as specified by the employer
- Registered Pharmacist candidates will be preferred
