Job Responsibilities
Quality Control (API & FML)
- Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, excipients, and packing materials.
- Perform analytical tests using HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, IR, UV, dissolution, polarimeter, potentiometric titrations, KF, PSD by Malvern, and other wet/physical analyses.
- Ensure compliance with current data integrity and cGMP requirements.
- Manage stability studies and handle OOS/OOT/deviations and QMS (CAPA, CCP).
Quality Assurance (API & FML)
- Review batch production records (BPR), batch cleaning records, test data sheets, and API finished goods sampling.
- Prepare Annual Product Quality Reviews (APQR).
- Handle QMS documents, including change control, deviations, CAPA, OOS, and OOT.
- Respond to customer queries and prepare questionnaires.
- Review qualification/validation documents, investigation reports, and Quality Risk Management (QRM).
- Audit analytical documents, method validations, specifications, test methods, and QC system audit trails.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, or B.Pharma.
- Experience: 2-5 years in pharmaceutical quality control or assurance.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, etc.).
- Knowledge of cGMP, data integrity, and stability studies.
- Familiarity with QMS processes (CAPA, CCP, OOS, OOT).
- Additional Requirements: Minimum 60% in highest education for candidates with less than 5 years of experience. Candidates interviewed within the last 6 months are ineligible.
